Tennessee Hall Taxes

While Tennessee is not a state that levies general personal income taxes, the state of Tennessee does levy what is called a Hall Tax. The Hall Tax is levied on interest and dividend income from investments.

Note: TN Hall Taxes were repealed on April 22, 2016 and scheduled to be phased out over a 6 year period.
